Is buying a World of Warcraft character aginst the rules?

My question is that I want to buy a level 50 in World of Warcraft but I'm not sure if Blizzard is aginst the rules? I do not want to break a rule.

Gifts (giving), trading and selling accounts is against Blizzards TOS. They got very good recognition of accounts that have changed hands. The accounts have been transferred to one of these forms may be banned. As an added bonus, many people who purchase accounts of someone who gets these stolen accounts by them. Just change the password does not stop it. There is no way to recover the account that must occur. Can you without the account and money spent on the account. You'd be much better in terms of your own character. By the way, heres what Blizzard has to say about this topic: "Property / Sell account or virtual objects. Blizzard does not recognize the transfer of accounts. You can not buy, sell, gift or trade any Account, or offer to purchase, sale, gift or trade any account, and any attempt will be null and void. Blizzard owns, has licensed, or otherwise has the right to all content appears in the program. You agree that you have no right or title or content, including the virtual goods or currency appearing or originating in the game, or any other attribute associated with the account or stored on the Service. Blizzard does not recognize virtual property transfers executed outside of the game or pretended sale, donation or exchange in the "real world" of anything related to the game. Therefore, it can not sell items for "real" money or otherwise exchange items for value outside the game. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html
